I have a 1999 Durango with 5.9L engine. The gas gauge doesn't work and the low fuel warning light stays on. The dealer says it's the ECM ($1200 to fix). Any other ideas?
find the connecter to the Fuel sender,( fuel level senser). Do a OHMS test to see if acuate to gauge. A diag..tool can read the sender position, and it can check the gauge.
