Default Compounded Electrical Problems! HELP!!!

I have a 99 Durango. Last week I finally got around to installing my new radio/cd deck and proceeded to wire it up, temporarily of course. Despite there being no consistent color coding or labeling, i managed to figure out all the speaker wires, the batt and acc+ wires, and the ground. I replaced the front speakers as well and observed my handiwork by listening to some music. BUT... the deck wouldn't run on accessory power, couldn't play anything over certain volume levels, and cut out randomly (like a skipping cd, but with the radio as well.) Frusterated with these problems, I tried double checking the power wires and ground connection and succeeded in gaining NO power at all. In addition, I noticed my rear wiper, power mirrors, and int. lights don't work either now. After checking all my fuses, I found a blown one in the radio slot. I replaced all the fuses (having seen the pitiful state of the ones already in there.) After fiddling some more yesterday, I managed to regain some power in the deck, (now the tiny red light on the inside face blinks when the car is running.) The deck still has no function though. When I put the faceplate on and turn it on, there is no response, and there is still no response from the wiper, mirrors, or lights. Sorry this problem is so lengthy, but I'm pretty stressed after a week of dealing with this stuff. Anyone know whats going on here??? Also, if anyone knows of a radio wire harness schematic thats more detailed than the one on the sticker on the stock radio (one with actual color descriptions) that would be great. Thanks!!!
