Hi all. This is my first post, so excuse me please i do something wrong.

I just got a 2001 Durango from my inlaws last night. It is a nice suv, but it has a problem. When ever you use the steering wheel radio controls, the doors lock and unlock. Very weird and very annoying.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

first if the radio is not factory ,then they wired it wrong .ie: they used your door lock positive wire to run the 12 volt lead ,,not the hot wire but as a constant ,if factory radio ,then try pullin the radio fuse and try the controls let me know what happens
