2003 Durango ball joint recall?

2003 Durango ball joint recall?
Is there a recall on the 2003 model for ball joints? I think there was a recall on some year models. My first set of tires did not wear well, but I figured it was a poor alignment job. I just got a new set of tires and alignment, and after only 500 miles, it looks to me like the outside of the right front is not wearing right. Any insight would be appreciated.
This is a 2WD 5.9L
Thanks,
Rob

It was mainly for 2000-2003 4x4 models, you can call the dealer and ask about it.
It could also be wear caused by a bad tie-rod end, the shop that did your alignment should have checked for bad parts when they did the alignment.

I agree with 89Daytona. When your alignment was done they should've noticed any bad parts. I would also check to make sure they have proper air pressure in the tires too. As for the recall, yes there is one for the 2000-2003 4x4 Durango and Dakota. This is only for the upper ball joints though, not the lowers.
