besides the dealership and junkyard does anyone know where i would be able to get a ps pressure sensory for 2000. and help on the location and price>. already tried autozone and advanced, no luck.

 

I needed one for my 2000 Durango - got it from the dealership for around $20.00 NAPA had them - but the price was the same and would take 4 days to get.

Question: Do you have a 4.7L, and if so, any issues with the o2 sensors?

I havent had any issues with any o2 sensors YET. haha . is that a common problem? do u have a location of where i would install the ps pressure sensor, would i need any special tools to get to it. or is just basic? thanks

 

On a 2000 Durango 4.7, it is located on the right front side of the engine - when you are facing the engine. An adjustable wrench can remove it, once you unclip the harness connection. The lines are coming out of the power steering unit, with the high pressure side having this sensor coupled to it.
