Default Replacing mirror on '98 Durango?

Hey all, im new here! Some hoodlums knocked off mine (and 4 other cars) side view mirrors when me and my girlfriend were out to dinner. I recently got a replacement mirror for my car, but ive been having trouble finding directions how to replace it. It seems as if I need to take off the whole door panel, is this the case? If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated. Its the drivers side mirror by the way and its electric. Thanks!

i just recently got my durango so i might be wrong. ill get u a definitive answer tomrow. but there should be about 5 screws to hold in the door panel and then u should see where the screws that hold up the mirrors are. its pretty much self explanatory when u have the door panels removed.

Hey just wondering if anyone can link me somewhere to get this fixed? Its not too safe driving around without a sideview mirror. Thanks!

all u gotta do is take off the 3 screws on the inside of the door diagonal to your mirror, slide the plastic piece off, an the mirror is held in by screws, or bolts depending on what dodge felt like putting in there at that time.. it's simple
