Well guys,

Had to take the family camping, fishing. A PERFECT TIME FOR WHEELING!

Got 9.81 MPG both towing and wheeling. I was very happy. After putting my truck on the trail for the first time since a lot of my upgrades and beefed up work to the suspension, I started off slow and steady. Being the only one up there I didn't want to bust up anything. Not to mention I forgot my tools! But that's ok I trusted my art.

I put the D to the test. It was dry and very rugged. I finally decided to throw it in 4 low for some of the ruts would swallow me whole and I wanted full control. I did get into some spring mud holes but not as much as I would like. It has been dry here for the most part. I had to use my head and pop off trees and ruts to get were I wanted to be. I ended putting on about 50 miles of very hard country.

The further I got in with nobody in sight, (as if someone would have been in there by themselves anyway) the more I put the D to the test. Running a lot on the skid plates I decided to get on the throttle more and more to brake though the trails built for very aggressive 35 inch tires and 4" lifted trucks or bigger.

I found some heart stopping camp spots and awesome vew areas that would nock your socks off. I forgot my camera so I got to go back. I'm going to try to get back in there by the 24th. This time I'll remember my camera. We were running anywhere from 6,800 FT to 11,000 feet. Running on sky lines and through the ruts we had a great time.

Camping area was 8,800 FT with albino trout. Pine tree's lined the road and small open meadows with deer and other wild life. All the while being right in the middle of bear country. Scared the crap out of the family but all is well now.

NOT ONE PROBLEM![sm=icon_cheers.gif]
