vaacum problems

Default vaacum problems

i need help i have a 1998 dodge durango and every time im in drive or reverse it makes a whineing noise and we took the 4x4 out of 2h into N and i called my uncle to see if he knew anything since he worked for dodge and he said it could be the vaacum ... but where is it located at.....anybody else have da same problem

your best bet if you really think its a vaccum leak take it to the dealer and have them hook it up to a fog machine then look for the smoke hope it helps

Whining noise in reverse.... sounds like you have a rear differential going bad. They will whine alot before they go out completely so you have time to get it fixed.
