I was trying to find some tow hooks for my front end as well. Dodge discontinued the 1st gen hooks and it is propably really hard to find OEM tow hooks anywhere. I went to a junkyard and got some heavy duty ones that I put on my frame back by the tires. Just pick some strong ones up and grade 8 bolts and locking washers and drill into the frame. I'm sure your frame is exactly the same as mine. I mounted them right up where I could fit a wrench in the frame to hold the bolt easily when tightening

Another cheap/easy option is to install a front receiver hitch. The Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite come with built-in hooks/loops.

BTW, are you related to me?

My option cost me all of $20.00 the front receiver isn't too bad at $100.00 or so but out of my range for something that would never get used much.

An official MOPAR rear tow hook for the Gen1 D is $25.20.
