You may want to check the tranny. I hear from alot of posts that the trannys usually won't last past 100k. Hopefully the seller has maintenance records to show everything was maintained at scheduled mileage?

My thoughts exactly... If it comes to needing another tranny that is the next thing I will do.

I have a 98 durango... so far here's what has gone wrong with mine...

1. a Transmission
2. a rear universal
3. another Transmission
4. both rear power windows
5. 5-way power driver seat is now only a 3-way (2 ways don't work anymore)
6. The A/C system leaked.. (I charged it)
7. now the A/C Compressor does not turn on at all (might be a fuse, if only I could find it)
8. ball joints, upper & lower, driver & passenger side... SHOT! (this is not the original set either)
9. 4 of 6 infinity speakers blew..
10. rear washer resevoir has a leak, water gets INTO IT and freezes unless you use straight antifreeze wash. fluid. (boy is that a pain)
11. Fuel Gauge does not work right (off by 1/8-1/4 of a tank) so I use odometer to know when to get gas...
12. Muffler.. heh.. the entire outer shell of it has peeled off and I expect it to need replacement any minute

On the plus side the paint and interior is still in really good shape! Make me an offer!!
