Does anybody know of any mods for the block heater wire harness on 2004 Hemi's? From the factory the plugs are located on the driver side towards the back of the engine compartment. The biggest problem is the harness length. It doesn't have enough length to be able to move the plug location. This means every time you need to plug in or unplug, you have to pop the hood instead of running the harness through the front grill and plugging in there.

Living is Wyoming, during the winter this would be a huge inconvienence.

 

Bring the cable to the front.
with a extra cable ( 1 mtr)
i made an extra socket in the bumper.
