i just bought 99 durango i dont know if i am doing somthing wrong i cant seem to get it out of 4wdft to 2wh 4wpt light stays on

 

once your in four wheel drive you can't get it back into two wheel drive is that what you are saying.. or is it just the light on and sais it in 4 hi but you are in 2 wheeldrive.?? just clarifying.. easy to help that way.. because it could be a electrical problem or it maybe something more serious.. JP
