Default Brake, but no tail lights

I have a '99 Durango 5.8l 2x4. My tailights and speedometer light went out simultaneously, but the brake and turn signals work fine. I checked the wiring, the fuses in the fuse box under the hood, and the bulbs in the tailight assembly.

Any ideas?

Maybe it's a ground wire? Check all of your grounds to make sure they're not loose. Get a haynes or chiltons manual and check the wiring diagram for the locations. 5.8L hmmm never heard of that one. [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif] j/k

Does the '99 have another fuse panel on the side of the dash when you open the drivers door? Almost has to be a fuse....

Those are tiny fuses in there I doubt it is in there. Just have to check the owners manual basically...

I just looked in my truck on the drivers side dash fuse panel and those fuses are in there.

Also check under the hood inside the main panel.
