Default having some big problems

ok, i have a 98 rango...well the other day it was running kinda funny..then last nite at the gas station it was running real bad....idleing at like 200rpms and jumping all over the place....i decided to just take it home and get my car..well it almost wouldnt make it home....you couldnt get it over 45mph and to keep it from loosing too much speed or dying you had to just keep hitting the gas over and over.....well i hooked my laptop up to it and its throwing code:
P0132 powertrain: H02S circuit high voltage bank1 sensor 1
what does this mean????? what is making it run like this????
any help???

I believe you have an O2 sensor problem. A fix could be as simple as replacing the upstream O2 sensor, or it could be caused by things such as: an exhaust leak, Fuel contamination, electrical wiring connectors, or an O2 heater problem.
I would try replacing the O2 sensor first and if you still have a problem take it down to your local dealer and see if they can fix it. The sensor will run you about $85 (part number 56041213). Hope this helps.

well its got an exhaust leak....kinda bad one....but its been fine for a while now...so hopefully its the o2 sensor....thanks

It would only be caused by an exhaust leak if the leak was before the oxygen sensors. It is most likely a bad O2 sensor, although if the problem occurs when the engine is cold there might be another cause to the problem.
