Default ball Joints repair Specifications

i have a 2000 D 4.7, my upper ball joints have been repaired under the recall already. i went to get an oil change and was told my ball joints are bad again and i need to get them repaired. wtf. i spoke with dodge and they said i can take it in and if it falls under the recall specifications they will repair it. if not i will be charged a service fee and they will not fix it free. so my question is does anyone know what tool is used to measure and the specifications that Dodge uses to judge. any help or info is appreciated. thanks

Upper ball joints are easy. It took me about 5 min. for both sides to do. They might be talking about the bottom ball joints. Those are a pain[:@]

Hydra you might want to pass that info on to BadStrat so that he can put it up in the DIY section.
