I have a 98 Durango with 120000 miles. Had to have the transmission rebuilt at 75000. Has done fine until now. When you are driving at normal speeds and come to a stop, just before coming to a stop, there is a bumping feeling and a thud sound coming from under the floor board. This does not happen when you have only had it in first or second gear, only when it has been in overdrive. Any help is greatly appreciated. First time here.

Sounds like a universal joint or front drive shaft on the 4x4.

BTW, you should be leaving the overdrive on and forgetting about it unless you are towing.
