Default Magnaflow 14 or 18

I've been reading the exhaust forums a ton over the past few months. I'm looking to upgrade the sound of my truck to something a lot more aggressive. We travel a fair bit in the summer, but besides that, it's only city driving. I don't want alot of drone in the vehicle, but I do want to be heard when I'm cruising.

I'm looking at either:

18" or 14" - 2.5 in / 2.5 out
18" or 14" - 2.5 in / dual 2.5 out

Just do a Cat Back MagnaFlow 3" exhaust with a 24" muffler. Not too loud and still gets your attention. Replacing the OEM muffler isn't going to help you out any.

I have thought about that, but the 24" muffler is just not as loud as I would like it. How do you find the 24" compared to stock?

Well I just got the 18" Magnaflow Muffler (12256) installed. Honestly it doesn't sound much louder then the stock Muffler. I do know that it takes a month to break in, so I was wondering how much louder is it going to get?
