Default ABS and Transmission switch problems?

I recently purchased a 98 Durango with the 5.2L motor, and I am having a few problems with it. Any help on these would be appreciated. Every once in a while I will go to start the vehicle and the starter doesn't even click. I am sure its not the battery (all the accessories work and come right back on after the key is back to ON). After I move the shifter around a little (down to drive and back to park) it starts right up. Sometimes it takes moving the shifter to neutral. Around the same time the ABS and Parking Brake lights have come on and stayed on. The other day they went off and now there back. Any ideas?

Replace the rear wheel sensor on top of the rear axel.

Your shifter cable could also be sticking too, or your ignition switch or even your starter selinoid. But I don't it's the selinoid because you can start it in neutral.
