Default Dealer bound!!!

Okay,I wrote a while back about my 2000 Durango asking about a tune up, an idle surge, O2 sensors and a P0171 code. Well I've taken care of the plugs, O2 sensors and idle surge(cleaned the IAC calmed the idle right down).I have even replaced the fuel pump module. Which the little filter on the bottom was pretty nasty. I have checked resitance in the coolant temp sensor and the air temp sensors and they change in resistance as required. I have not checked the MAP sensor yet as I'm unsure how to go about doing that and what my readings are supposed to be. Now if a map sensor is not functioning properly would it not show a code? I know I forgot to hook up the IAT sensor and I got a code. If any of my sensors are bad I would think they would show a code, right?? I know that I just replaced the O2 sensors, could they be dirty from the engine running so rich? if so how can I clean them. I really don't want to put out another $180.00 on them. Any insight on how to get rid of that !%$ !*&@%# )*&^$% !^@%$*#(& P0171 code would be GREATLY appreciated.

Yes the MAP sensor will throw a code if it is bad. I don't think that the O2 sensors are dirty. Take the power and ground wires off the battery and let it sit for about 45 min. Then re-hook it back up again and start the truck. Turn it off in about 5 sec. Don't hit the gas. Then turn the truck to full on position and let it sit for about 10 sec. then start and drive normal for about 45 miles, That should hopefully totally reset the system.
