It sounds as if the window gear motor is going. I would reccomend not using it, in
case it goes out when the window is down

Good Luck

how does the window gear motor have anything to do with the power lock?

sounds like your power lock module in the door is going bad. Not 100% sure on the dodge's but on my bmw there was a similar problem where the door lock broke, pulled off the door panel and swapped it out. took about 30~45 minutes tops to get it done.

what does it do when you used the key?

Like Steve said you need to replace the door lock. There is a plastic gear in there that gets partially stripped. I have had 3 go bad. It took me about 30 minutes and the part was $150 from the dodge dealer.
