Headlight Bulb Replacement?
I just got the Silverstar Ultra replacement bulbs for my 03 SXT D....
Problem: Access to the Headlight caps/connectors.
Passenger side: Possibly remove air box, etc....
Any other suggestions for the driver's side or tips??? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

you could remove the battery and see if that helps... when I replaced mine it took me 20 min to do the drivers side one cause it's such a small space.

I replaced mine with the Silverstar Ultra.
It was a bit_h getting to it. I finally just removed the entire
headlight assembly. If I remember correctly, it was only 3-4 screws.
When I did this, it only took 15 minutes to replace teh bulbs, and put it
all back together.

My hand was actually small enough to reach the bulb on the driver side and was able to unscrew it out from the back without having to remove the assembly. But the passenger side, you will have to remove the air breather elbow to get to the passenger bulb from the rear.
Hey all, You do have to remove the 3-4 Torx screws around the front of the headlight to replace the bulbs. I have the last version of the Sylvania silverstar's, and love them. They have lasted me almost 2 years already... They are so bright... Just installed the ultra's in my girlfriends parents car tonight... they are bright... cant wait to see the difference in my Durango.. . hope to be getting them soon. The silverstar fog lights are also well worth the price... Together they light up everything, but, the fogs do burn up quicker.... already replaced them 2. Everyone always thinks you are high beaming them... oh well...
Are there differing versions of Silverstars? I have silverstars in my Durango and they are still burning bright for the past 3 years. So is the latest silverstars even brighter than the original silverstars? I'll have to go upgrade then!
