Default Thermostat

I must have read this 15 times in many threads, but what temp thermostat should i put in? i think it was 185 degrees...

if it makes any difference i have the 4.7L engine.

its usually 180 or 195, if it were a 318/360, yes use the 180 t-stat. i'd also think it'd be good for the 4.7 as well but I have no experience on the 4.7 motors.

Stock is 195. Most people opt for a 180 replacement if/when needed. 160 is available but not recommended because the PCM will have issues with it.
