I just checked out that website, the picture of the fan looking apperatus is a bildge blower for a boat engine compartment. It will not produce 2 lbs of boost. It takes about 20 hp to make 6 lbs of boost so you will need one hell of an electric motor to make real boost. There is a reason sc's are crank driven.

hell, as echargers go, thats not even a half-decent one. thats not even a boat blower, its an exhaust fan from a bass system.

right right...

because it wouldnt bolt up to a V8, its not a real performance part. there are guys who have gotten substantial gains from high end Echargers.

they are also somewhere in the area of $6000 when you take ito consideration the cost of adding an extra alternator and several extra batteries.

It would seem to me that the hp draw from a second alternator would be about the same as a charger. Why not go with a solar powered echarger?
