Front Bearings

I have to put new bearings in the front of my 98 1st gen 4x4. Not sure of the process. It has 86,000 miles on it and is starting to rumble and hum while changing lanes to pass. Is this a hobbiest job? Are the hubs sealed requiring the front unit to be replaced? I am comfortable working on my own vehicles but this is the first front end problem I have had with it. I am also looking for an exploded view of the hub or a source online for these drawings. I am visually impaired and this helps to sort things out. Not really sure of a good source for prices either. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Remove three bolts on the backside of the hub assembly than pull/pry it out of the press fit hole. The procedure is in the haynes/chilton repair manual. It can be done on the vehicle.
They are $160-215 at Advance Auto/Kragen/O'rielly http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...aring%2c+Front
$205-280 at NAPA and probably a little more expensive at the dealer.
