I have a 1998 Durango. Running fine this morning. Stopped and got gas and would not restart. I put into neutral to start. I have checked every thing that the Chilton Manual shows on testing the Neutral safty switch. I can bypass switch and start in any gear. But only have continuity through switch in neutral. I don't know whether to change switch or if it looks like a mutch bigger problem.

 

Sounds like something in the column. Could be a bad switch but I'm thinking it's in the column.
