Now something else!!!!
I am really getting concerned. I have only had my Durango a little over a month and it has been in the service department about 12 of those days. First the AC was leaking, then the AC was blowing hot air, now the Air Bag Light keeps coming on. They just called me from the dealership and told me that they are waiting on a part to fix the problem. What is the deal with the '04, are they lemons or what? I am really worried about my purchase. I am so put out by the situation of having to take off work so many times from sitting in the service department waiting, that I took it to trade it in on something else. You would think that they would give a little consideration as to why; however I financed $29,000 ($38,448 list price) about a month ago and now they said they would give me $25,000 on a trade in. What a joke!!!
Im sorry to say but these are all things one can expect with any new vehicle. Especially one with as many computers, moduels, and sensors as the new Dodge Durango, and this is a new truck by any meaning of the word. The only thing it carried over is the name. Unfortunately it takes time to get some things right... Just hang in there, there is a light at the end of the tunnell
I agree with uawnick. they have to iron out all the bugs. I'm sure every year model has it's problems. I feel your pain with having put out all that money and it's not acting right. at least you have a warranty to fall back on. be patient. it'll all work out.
