Default window motor problems

Has anyone replaced a window motor or switch in a '00 Durango?. Just wondering where I can get one or the other for a good price. I'm pretty sure it's the motor, but some people tell me it's the switch. On the passenger front, the window went down and won't roll back up. When I press the switch from the passenger side, I can hear the motor try to roll down, even though it already is. When I hit the switch to roll it up, I hear nothing. Now, when I try to roll it up or down from the driver side switch, I hear nothing at all. I don't get it. I have the window secured in the up position, so it's not a big concern right now. I just don't like things to be broke.

Take the door apart, and run a wire from both sides of your battery to the corospoding wires on the motor, bipassing all the fuses and relays or any other switchs. If it works then reverse the wires to make the window roll down. If all that is good then the problem is your switchs. Ebay would be one of the best places if not a junk yard.

Now if doing this doesn't work then your motor is bad same thing Ebay or junk yard, test them first before installing them.

Side note; Sometimes if the master switch is not working then the switch on the door of that window will not either. Unfortunatly you cant take that switchs apart and clean them. Because all that happens is the connections get burned then all you do is clean them off and your good. But not in this case a whole new switch is required.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna test it first. If it's the motor then I'll try Mean Green's method.
