My brakes have been squeeeeeekkkking for a couple months now. This drives me up the wall because I cannot figure out if its the front or back. I think its the back, but I am not sure. My husband went to the dealership, bought front brake pads and new ball joints. Checked the front brake pads, said they were fine, took the brake pads back. However, he didnt check the back brakes - thinking that they would be less worn than the front.

Isn't it the back brakes that do all the work with ABS system? I don't know!!?? This noise is driving me crazy not to mention the people I pull up next to. Not only do the brakes sound bad, but now at times when I back up the same sound comes from the back brake without me applying the brake. What causes that? I will pull into a parking spot, squeeeekkking the whole time and then park, come back out, put the Durango into reverse, give it gas and the sound of squeeekkk comes back to haunt me!
