Default CD Player

I need helpwith getting to the back of my after market CD player. I have a 2001 durango, and I am trying to plug into my auxiliary imputs to connect my ipod to my speaker system. my problem is that i do not know how to remove the front panel to get to the back of the cd player. thanks for the help.

Screwdriver under the molding and pry up carefully...

Does the lower section have to come off first or should i be able to just take of the top section?It looks like i have to takeoff thewhole top section from the driver's side door to theglove compartment. is the right?

I have done this a few times, You have to remove the 2 or 3 screws above the gage cluster, then there is 1 or 2 more right at your right Knee location, kind of under the dash, THEN you pry out the large piece surrounding the radio, The entire piece will just pop out, Slide it to the side so you dont have to pull all the plugs to the heater/AC and all that stuff, Last but not least there is 4 screws that hold the factory radio in, Pull those out and slide the unit out , This sounds hard but takes about 5 Min's
