Default Stereo problem

Hey guys ever since I got my D the stereo would cut out on me and be replaced by a very annoying fast beeping. It goes back to the radio after about 30 seconds and sometimes I won't hear it for over a month. other times I'll get it a few times a week. Has anyone experienced this and know of a solution.

I can't say I've had that problem. Have you removed the radio and looked for a short?

Nata, I'm not very good with electronics or electrical in general. It's not a big deal just a bit annoying. When I firsthad it happenI thought it was an alarm telling me I was taking corners too fast because it seemed to only do it while turning but it is random. I'll have it going off when I'm driving a straight line just cruising, turning, accelerating, decelarating. This last week it did it twice and it's just so loud and obnoxious. The sound won't turn down with the volume control but if I turn off the stereo off then it will stop till I turn it back on.

You don't by chance carry a Blackberry do you? I have the same problem in multiple vehicles and it seems to be casues by data transmission from my Blackberry. I turn the Blackberry off, no interference. Just a thought.

No I have a RAZR and I lost it for the last few days and it's still been doing it. I am thinking it is interfernce as well. It's just funny because no matter how high or low I turn the volume after it starts beeping it never changes the volume of the beeping. The only way to get it to stop is to turn off the radio and that is just to wait until it is done beeping.
