You get more torque out of the k&n too though. So like you said it will save you gas as long as you don't have a lead foot. Heck I did a custom ram air setup and gained 1.5 mpg or so and did notice a power difference.

This is interesting. I have a K & N Cold Air Intake but I didn’t have the chance to know what really the advantages are. I’m having fun with these forums. I’ll try to look for more.
