hydraulics
Bad thing about hydraulics is that it can severely mess up the frame with all that twisting and bending of the hydraulics to one corner of the vehicle. Even if it is a show car, it will eventually not even be drivable for too long. Things will get out of alignment, get loose, etc from all that hopping, lifting, twisting, etc.
If I ever decide to add hydraulics to my D, it will only be used to give my D an extra lift for ground clearance when I am offroading. and lifting/lowering the D would be all 4 corners simulatenously.
