Default How do I know if I have Limited Slip?

Everything I read, including my manual, says something like "if you have a limited slip differential, then.....", but how do I know if I actually have one. I have a 2000 Durango 4.7L 4WD.

Thanks

jackup the rearend and spin 1 tire... if the other tire follows in the same direction, you have posi... if not its an open diff and only 1 tire is driven.

Thanks guys. Would an "anti spin differential" be the same thing? That's the closest thing my sticker in the glovebox says. Why can't they just come out and say you have a Limited Slip Dif?

I guess I'll just jack it up a spin the wheels.

yup, posi-traction = limited slip = anti-spin differential... all the same. they use clutches to engage the other wheel when the primary looses traction.
