Default Plugs and wires

This is the first time I'm attempting doing something like this, so please bear with me. I already know that the plugs I should get for my D are the Champion Truck Plugs, but I am also wondering if I should replace the wires as well. If so, what wires work well in the 5.2? Would it be worthwhile to replace the distributer cap as well? If so, what brand should I look for? I'm not looking for a big performance gain or anything, just looking to do regular maintenance.

If you want a smooth, easy path, get stocker plug wires. Otherwise, Magnecor, Taylor, Accel, etc are all good wires... some better than others.

As for when to change... I did mine at 90,000 but it is recommended at 50,000 miles.
