Performance for 02 durango
I have a 02 durango r/t.. I am looking to add more performance to it, I already installed a k&n cai which I like a lot but I want to add more. I am wanting to do the exhaust system next, what are the differences between single vs dual? And what are good exhaust systems that will be good for this? I was looking at the flowmaster 40 or 50 series. I just need some info on this from people who know about or have this on their durango.
What are the advantages of a superchips tuner? Are these better than the other tuners?
What does a jet 180 stat do? I was thinking to get one of them.
Also I was looking to upgrade the shocks and springs, what are ones that are good?

Your next steps should be 180 tstat, exhaust (I like the 40 series personally, but it is too loud for some people), programmer, throttle body, rocker arms, cams, ignition, electric fan, intake manifold, ect. ect...
A 180 tstat engages your cooling system 15 degrees cooler than stock (195). This keeps your motor running cooler which very slightly increases compression, in turn increasing power. It is really just a small mod to compliment other larger ones. Also, a cooler motor is a happier motor.
The stock springs should be fine for the time being. Upgrading with some better shock will improve handling slightly, but for a stronger grip to the ground, look into an aftermarket sway bar linkage setup.
