Anyone have there heater core replaced what was total cost? Is it about same as evaporater? I had that replaced and TOTALLY forgot about heater core. Should have had that done same time [:@]

I had a quote to do my heater core and it was like $700. so I did it myself in a weekend. but I wish I woulda got them to do it as it is leaking again. I think I got a faulty heater core.[:@]

aslong as you maintain your cooling system, you heatercore should last a long time

 

They're right in the same place so It will cost you pretty much the same in labor + the cost of the heater core.

 

I figure that the work would take 6 hours at a shop, and depending on where you're located shop rates could be $65-$100 an hour, the part itself is not very expensive at all, probably around $50-$100.

 

This can be a DIY project if you take your time.
