Default multiple failures

Greetings everyone,
this is my 1st time posting in this forum. I recently put my 2001 D back on the road after a six month hiatus. After putting on new tiresnew batteryo&f change and a right front brake caliper and an inspection sticker all was well. Then the next day i had a number of problems including :no wipers front or rear, no radio controls on the steering wheel, 4wd stuck in 4wd with blinking light on awd, power door locks not locking automaticly at16mph, and the heater blowing out thru vents no matter where its set at.
My question: Is there any one thing that could cause all this to happen at once like an ECM or something similar? I've checked all fuses and the power distribution center all are ok I cant think of anything else.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

RJM:
Sounds like it could also be corroded or rodent damaged wiring under the Power Distribution Center which sits on the fenderwell next to the battery.
To inspect this, you will have to remove it from the fenderwell and turn it over. Make sure to disconnect the battery first though.

As a quick fix, first try resetting the PCM by diconnecting the battery and pressing the brake pedal for a minute or so. That may cure the issue right there.

Good Luck Don

I noticed you changed one caliper. I've been taught if you replace an item on one side (either brakes, rotors, shocks, or calipers) you need to replace the other to match.

It could be your Central Timer Module (CTM) is bad. Just do a search to learn more.

I found the problem and I'm embarrased to say it was a fuse afterall. In the #5 cavity is the fuse for the front wipers. I was looking at the #6 cavitywhich is'nt supposed to have a fuse in it at all!
Just to let you know it runs more than just the front wipers it also controls the rear wiper(but not the washer) the stereo controls in the steering wheel, the 4wd switchand the power door locks at 16 mph.
Thank you for all your suggestions. They didnt go unappreciated.
