Hello all - I just purchased a 2000 Durango 5.9L w/ 66K on it. I cannot get the cruise control to start nor does a light come on the dash to let me know it is on. Anybody ever have a similar problem? I wouldn't know where/what to check. thanks

 

welcome to the boards. could be a couple of things. speed sensor/ break lights or fuse. If your not getting any lights I'm leaning toward fuse, but check it out.

Check out the brake light switch located on the top of the brake pedal arm. If it is out of adjustment the cruise will not come on .................
