Default 01 5.9 Stalls....

My truck keeps stalling... I live in Hawaii so it can't be the cold weather(lol) Anyway, I've check my plug wires, changed all the fluids, changed filters, put it on the computer but everything comes out clean, nothing shows up. Has anyone had this problem?

Have you checked that you are getting correct fuel pressure?

Rudy:
More info please. Will it start right back up, or do you have to wait a bit? Does there seem to be any pattern to the stalling, or is it totally random?

Throttle body area was gummed up... Old toothbrush and carb cleaner fixed it right up!

Glad to hear it was easily rectified. Have not had any of these issues with my 01 as of yet, but will file this away for future reference.

I have a 1999 Durango with the 5.9L. In the last week the engine has just died while driving down the street. It
won't immediatlet restart but after 30 minutes or so it will. Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
Kevin
