Default HELP with alarm.

I just bought a 2003 Durango.....which I love. When I bought it there was no remote for the door locks or alarm. Every time I turn the key in the door the alarm goes off. This is annoying to me and my neighbours. It doesn't matter which way I turn the key, the alarm goes off. It was installed by the manufacturer. Does anyone have any ideas to help me until I can order a remote.

I think you can unlock the passenger side door without it going off. [&:]

I took your advice and looked, there is no keyhole on the passenger side. I even looked for a hiding place and there is none. Can you tell me where it may be hiding?

Don't know if this will work but it's worth a try.
Disconnect the battery for 5 minuets, to reset everything.
Then don't lock the door with the key, push the button and then close the door. (some alarms are set when you use the key t lock the door.)

That's weird I guess that captain idea is worth a shot. if nothing else find a wiring diagram and unhook the alarm or just unhook your horn until you get a new key fob...
