Default Stock parts.. are they good enough??

Good morning dodgers
are the stock or original parts of the Durango (2002) good?
couse i heared some of'em arent good
for example the front control arms, bearings..etc
i also saw this video that shows something bad

if there is really stock parts need to be changed with a better ones

The OEM parts that are the bane of all Durangos... Ball joints.

The only good OEM part from Dodge for the Durangos are Heater cores. But you must inspect the new corepersonally before you let them install it to make sure you did not get a bad one out of the box. The heater core comes with a 3/36 warranty directly from Dodge.

From what it sounds like, you are worried about the OEM front suspension setup. The only major problem is the upper ball joints. Sure, things like wheel bearings will go bad, but certainly not with a higher percentage than any other SUV. Also, I have never heard of a control arm going bad on a Durango/Dakota (You might be talking about the upper ball joints, as they are rivited into the control arm).

so for example if i want to install a hotchkis kit in my car and relplace the original one.. its good right?
