I'd say you still have air, re-bleed.

I changed the front brakes on my wifes 96 intrepid and the same thing happend. I bleed the brakes it seems 100 times and still happends, a friend of mine told me to change the rear brakes and that it should be ok, i did that today and the brakes to me seem fine, but the true test will come when the wife drives it. will follow up later.

as I was saying my wife drove the car today and she said that her brakes were better and harder, so conclusion on brakes is any messing with the calipers tells the abs that theres a mishap, all hell breaks lose. What more can I tell you? My wife is happy with the outcome.
