help on 93 intrepid es
hello I'm new to the forum, Ok there are a few thing around 4 things I would like some help on,
First: I was wondering how to replace/remove the headlight bracket since its broken and that needs to be saftied.
Second: well sorta second, If i need to remove the bumper/front clip to remove/replace the headlight bracket how i would go about removing te bumper/front clip.
Third: The door handle get stuck, like when you pull to open the door the handle stays out and then if you close it it wont lock shut you have to press the handle down for it to lock.
Fourth: the fan relay, the fan wont turn on you have to manually turn on the engine fan.
I was wondering if someone would be able to give me a detailed way to fix these problems.
Oh, alos the engine has gone into "limp mode" was wondering what needs to be replaced to fix that.
Thanks in advance.

lamp isse on on next post you wrote. Do you still need help with the door? What do you mean by "manually turn on the engine fan" and in what reguard has the engine gone into "limp mode"?

Yes the door Istill need helpon, As For the fan (cooling fan) its not turning on when the engine is too hot, you have to manually turn it on. And the eninge going into "limp in/mode" I only have 2nd gear, park, reverse, nutrual. But from what i understand the battery died then it went into the "limp" mode, and it has to do with relays?
That is more the trany going into limp , not the engine. An example of the engine limp would be a default value used by the PCM for the MAP signal. You can drive it, but not weel as the engine sputters under hard acceleration. Now this may not be a "limp-in" mode in the trany either. Your trany may be going out, or have blockage etc. Is your speedo working? The speed output sensor can cause a "limp" mode, but the speedo should also be out. I'm not sure if the speed input sensor was bad if you would get the condition you have. Do you have an engine light? If a sensor, you should at least have an engine fault telling you that there is a fault stored in the TCM (tranny computer). When was the last time you changed fluid/filter in the trany? You may want to do that...make sure you use the correct fluidalso, as Dodge trannys do not play well with others!!
As for the door, pull the interior trim off the door to see what is binding. It may be a rod partially disconnected from a clip, or the clip lock is broken causing a slight excess in motion (like hyperextension). You will just have to open it up and inspect.

well ive fixed the limp mode now, it was a red wire that had meen scrapped and cut(it was in the bundle of wires that connects the ecu to the tcm), also the door handle that was fixed by Wd-40 and alot of moving the handle, the fan im still working on getting it to work but i suspect the wire connecting both fans it faulty, and as the headlight bracket removal found out that you had to remove the fog/driving lights.
