I just put a new tranny in and now the car won't start it sounds like the motor is tied up! i found that the drive plate seems to have alot of pressure against it causing the motor to not turn easy enough. Is this a installation mess up? it seems to me that the torque convertor might be the problem. the motor was fine before the new tranny. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Soungs like you didn't have the converter all the way in when you installed the trans. Probably damaged the pump and converter.
