What does one have to remove to replace the heater core? Is it true you have to remove the dash to replace this?

 

Yes, you have to remove the dash. Your ac evaporator and heater core are located in the same housing behind the dash.

 

Hello, did you tackle this job yet? I was wondering if I could pull the housing down after just moving the bottom of the dash away. It looks like its possible. I will be doing this job in a couple of weeks hopefully. I've had the evaporator for months now. Just trying to get some know how tips from someone who has done this job. Thanks
