help! 96 Intrepid 3.5l sounds like a motorcycle

help! 96 Intrepid 3.5l sounds like a motorcycle
i have a 96 dodge intrepid 3.5l with a problem. i narrowed it down but i need some more help i guess because no one knows what part i need. let me try and explain.
my car sounds like a motorcycle, when it starts it revs high and takes a couple seconds to get to normal idle speeds. also when i listen to the engine closely i hear sucking air, more than what i should hear. i took a look at the air intake and its all attached fine, i cleaned out the filter. i noticed im missing a peice from the air intake to the rear of the engine on the passenger side. there is a 4 inch gap between the 2 parts. im guessing a hose should go there but i can't find the part listed anywhere.
im guessing that only because there is a hose that goes from the air intake plenum to the same spot on the engine, but drivers side. (hose is called the pcv)
