I know the factory stereo is a DIN and a half, and right now I have a single DIN JVC radio installed. My question is if it is possible to fit a double DIN stereo in the dash and what trimming/modification would be needed? Also, if anyone has a picture of a double DIN stereo in the dash, I would like to see how it looks..

 

I don't think it would fit... another concideration is the depth. There isn't enough room to the rear so it would stick out. I went thru a few radios before I finally went to Crutchfield online. They have tested the fit of all the radios they sell and give the install plugs (and plate if needed) install instructions, wire data etc

 

hmm..that sucks. I'll hafta take the current radio out and do some measurements. I can't imagine an aftermarket stereo being much deeper than a stocker. I'll make it work if i hafta...
