Default 97 Intrepid is sick!

Hello All.......I have a 1997 Intrepid that is running very poorly. It started with a rough idle but rapidly got so bad that it will barely run. It sounds like two or ? cylinders keep dropping out and back in again.
Code scanner says it's a bad TP sensor or TPS circuit. The car has slightly over 100 K miles so I replaced the TP sensor along with all four oxy sensors and the air charge temperature sensor. The spark strength is very good, MAP sensor is good, the EGR valve is clean and functioning, fuel system is fine, and small parts (Plugs, hoses, pcv valve, etc) are all fine.
It still runs bad and the code scanner still shows a bad TP sensor. I checked the sensor and the circuit back to the two computers and it's fine. I have no way to check the computers except by replacing them and that's an expensive test!
Any ideas???
Thanks, Mac.

Macs. If you can't get answer here, you might want to try www.intrepid.net. Good luck.

My guess is spark plug wires, if they are factory i'd give it new plugs and wires.

Hello.......My Intrepid is running better than ever. (See the original post for details) This was a complicated problem, part of which was caused by me. (I used to make a living at mechanic work but back then, cars still had points!) Here's what happened as best as I can backtrack the problems:
The car had a bad idle speed motor that would hang up and finally got stuck but in a position that allowed the car to run not to badly. This problem probably existed for quite a while. One oxy sensor went bad. Somehow, the two problems conspired together and gave the the computer a nervous breakdown.
The computer was giving false code readings. (See original post) This was through the on-board data lite and also to a code scanner. Two different scanners were used, one by me and one by a pro shop.
I found the bad oxy sensor and idle speed motor by the old fashioned method: Take it out and test it. I was unable to diagnose the computer but suspected a problem so I sent it to a company to have it re-flashed. (Memory reload)
Once I got it back, it started giving problem codes that made sense. "Multiple misfires on all cylinders, #3 and #5 in particular".
Hey SUPARBEE44...You were right. Bad spark plug wires. The sad part is that I caused this. In "my day", it was normal to pop a plug wire to verify spark and to check the cylinder strength. In "today's day" that will burn a hole in the side of the plug cap or wire and cause all kinds of headaches.
So...It had a bad oxy sensor, a stuck idle air motor and a computer that was giving incorrect codes. Then I killed the plug wires. But it's all fixed and running great.
Thanks for your assistance, Mac.
