Okay i have a 1997 dodge intrepid with the 3.5 24 valve. I was coming home one night and started hearing an awful knocking noise, followed by extreme power loss then the oil light came on and the car died on me and would not start again. So my first thought was oil pump right. Well im not the greatest with new vehicles and this oil pump is timing belt driven. No idea what im doing. But my main thing is, is that i found a 3.5ho out of a 2003 intrepid for $400 dollars and would like to know if i could drop it in mine with minimal work..... thanks in advance.
