Default 95 Intrepid 3.3L auto trans going into limp mode

I have a 95 intrepid 3.3L and it goes into limp mode after driving about 25 miles, but it only goes into limp mode when i slow down and when the sits for a while then it works fine till i slow down then goes into limp mode. i have read alot on this but have not ran across his problem. could someone point me in the right direction? I have only codes 12 & 55 on key off/on and my code reader will not work on my 95.

I can't believe a 95 Intrepid still exists.

I have changed the TCM and the ECM and still have the problem.
Going to change speen input and output sensors next i'm hoping that will correct it.
And my girlfriend drives a 96 Intrepid with 125000 and no problems.(knock on wood)
any input would be helpful. Thank you in advance.
